Due to a month of very good horror movies on TCM, Wednesday evenings starting at 8pm, the October meeting will be held on Tuesday October 16^th @ the King of Prussia Mall from 7-9pm. We meet at the lower level food court located near JCPenney, usually next to the Subway food store. This will be the last meeting before Philcon, so if you have MOCs and are not attending, please bring them along with you. Hope to see you there.

DelVaLUG at Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con 2012 (Thursday 31 May to Sunday 3 June) was a great success.  At this, our fourth appearance, Wizard World was kind enough to give us three tables (24 feet by 30 inches) in the Fan section, which we crammed with dozens of official sets and mocs in all sizes, from town modulars at one end to 1978 Classic Space at the other, from a platoon of Dalek mini-figurines (18 pieces) to the thousand-piece 2006 UCS Batmobile.

Major pieces (by size and acclaim) were Nate’s R/C under-slung space monorail and, in its second Wizard World appearance, Nicki’s Pizza Day on the Death Star (“that’s so cute!”).  By popular request, Phil added his 2011 model, Stargate Universe’s Starship Destiny, on Sunday.  Yes, people remember us and our work year-to-year.  For an initial batch of photos, please see the collection in Phil T.’s Flickr photostream.

The exhibit was ably staffed was by DelVaLUG members Nate B., Chris E., Phil T., and Nicki T.; with pinch-hitters Allison, Stacey R., and Steve W.
